The most recent painting I did before this one was called “Venice”. I loved painting “Venice.” I had so much fun working on it, even though it took me three days to finish. I painted it almost a year ago. I promised myself that as soon as Christmas break came, I would paint another painting, and here it is: “Tuesday’s Night.” A happy girl with a paper hat, out in the rain.
I painted it on an 18×24 canvas board using acrylic paint. I think the biggest challenge of making this was trying to do the rain droplets. I also wasn’t sure on what kind of background would compliment the subject and droplets, but I think it all worked out in the end.
